Downtown Telluride

About this Project

The downtown Telluride project leans into an honest material language—reclaimed barnwood, raw steel, and crisp plaster balancing grit with refinement in a way that feels both grounded and elevated. The street level contains a blackened steel storefront and simple rhythm of vertical openings, while the residential level floats above, articulated with a steel rainscreen and broad glazing that soaks up box canyon views. Inside, a sculptural steel-and-oak stair anchors the plan and acts as a quiet moment of drama, connecting airy volumes lined in white plaster and flooded with natural light. Warm oak floors and clean-lined cabinetry provide a calm backdrop for bold art, and the layout flows effortlessly from social zones to more private retreats—uncomplicated, functional, and still quietly luxurious in all the right ways.
